Getting the most from long haul provisioning

When running shipments to long haul destinations we need to be very clear how things work best.  You will be paying for the cost of moving the goods from our global operations hub to your yacht and we both want the best outcome.

When transporting goods internationally, most countries have restrictions on what can be brought in.  On top of these restrictions, they may also request that goods are certified as free from various harmful bugs or bacteria.  This is not unreasonable and it also not optional.

The cost of shipment certification can range from €50 to as much as €500 depending on the products that are being sent and inspection requires at least 48 hours notice.  For this reason, we are running 2 inspection tracks per week.

Orders placed before 13.00 GMT on a Monday, will be bought, inspected and ready for dispatch on Wednesday morning.  Orders received by 13.00 on Wednesday will be ready for dispatch on Friday morning.

Once we have collated your order, we can hold the order in our temperature controlled warehouse for up to 48 hours before releasing it for onward shipping (this can often provide a better storage solution than trying to store your products at their destination).

If you are looking for a delivery on Tuesday or Wednesday, the products will have been purchased the previous Thursday and will most likely be dispatched on Monday/Tuesday morning.  This applies to meat, fish and fruit & veg.

Please read our section on Airfreight for more information on how we like to work.

Since we only pass on the cost of documentation, inspection and freight, we are happy to be very transparent about the costs of shipping your products.  We have certain destinations that we are able to easily serve, along with preferred freight partners.
