As a dynamic and energetic contributor we need your help us grow our French operation. Based in South of France (06), you will be a fluent English speaker, with a knack of delighting customers.
Our French operation was established in 2013 to meet the needs of crew aboard some of the world's most exclusive yachts. Primarily working with chefs and the interior staff, we provide ingredients and household products throughout the Cote d'Azur.

Description
Providing the vital link between the client (usually chefs) and our operations team, you will be responsible for end-to-end order management; from receiving the order, to clarifying items and ultimately overseeing their timely delivery.
You will work exclusively with a small number of clients, getting to know their preferences and building a strong relationship, making Penum their go to provisioner when in France. You will be expected to:
- Be the primary point of contact for your clients
- Understand the products that your customers require
- Enter orders on their behalf
- Ensure that they receive the right products
- Coordinate deliveries
- Make them smile
Skills
This is a junior role in a small and rapidly growing online business with international ambitions. You will need to be problem solver, happy to do whatever it takes to delight customers around the clock.
Specifically we need you to:
- Live relatively locally, or be willing to relocate
- Speak fluent English
- Be interested in food
- Be part of a small team
- Be great with technology (phones, tablets & computers)
- Know how to work with numbers and spreadsheets
- Remain calm under pressure
Our business provides only the best products, quickly with an attention to detail and service that cannot be matched. You will also need to have more than a passing interest in (fine) food, (expensive) wine and (outstanding) customer service.
Our team is drawn from a wide pool of experience and we will consider candidates from most backgrounds. You do not need to have worked as a chef or on a yacht, just be ready for new challenges.
Education
It is likely that you will have been to school. Possibly even university, but we are more interested in what you can bring to our business. An open minded approach to excellence, with some IT skills will probably suffice.
